Fast Neutron Breeder Reactor

Fast Neutron Breeder Reactor
Operating Mechanism
Supports up to 2048 parallel, cannot be accelerated by other
means
Recipe requires minimum neutron flux
Neutron flux can be increased by inputting neutron sources or
during recipe operation
The higher the neutron flux, the faster the pile heats up
Inputting Graphite Dust can absorb neutron flux
Inputting coolant can lower the temperature
If the temperature exceeds 2098K, the recipe fails, outputs
waste, and all fuel component blocks melt.

Input: Breeding Rods and corresponding Element Dust, different
recipes require different neutron flux
Output: Depleted Breeding Rods
The larger the actual parallelism P, the shorter the running time,
formula: T = t * (0.9 - (current neutron flux - required neutron flux) /
100MeV)^(P^0.5), where t is raw running time
Numerical Mechanism
Consume neutron sources to provide initial flux: Sb-Be 10keV,
Pu-Be 100keV, Cf-252 1MeV
Neutron flux decreases by 10keV per second
Small Pile/Big Pile/Graphite Dust reduce by 0.1/0.25/1MeV
respectively
When neutron flux is E (keV), after placing N Iridium Neutron
Reflectors in the mainframe, neutron flux increases by (EN)^0.5
keV per second
Initial temperature 298K, critical point 2098K
Heat generation formula per second: H=Kร—1.27ร—(E/100)^1.88
where K is the current temperature. Result rounded up
Coolant coefficients(K/mB/s): Distilled Water 1, Liquid Nitrogen 4,
Liquid Helium 80
Outputs Steam, Gaseous Nitrogen, Gaseous Helium respectively
after cooling
Will consume all neutron moderators input per second. Won't
consume excessive amounts of coolant(s).
Temperature change per second: ฮ”T=H-Cร—M, where Cร—M is the
cooling capacity provided by the consumed coolant(s). Result
rounded down
Built-in Parallel Mechanism
Built-in parallel processing, no parallel control hatch required
