Fuel Cell Generator

Fuel Cell Generator
Store energy in electrolyte through fuel oxidation half-reactions, or
release energy from charged electrolyte
Mode 1: Energy Storage
The multi-block top area of the machine, centered on the
mainframe, can be divided into two sides for inputting different
half-reactions
The input materials in each side area independently search for
half-reaction recipes
When both half-reactions have recipes, belong to the same
electrolyte system, have a semipermeable membrane installed,
and produce opposite charge signs, they will automatically
combine into a total reaction
Total reaction power = sum of both half-reaction powers / 2
Total reaction time = sum of both half-reaction (time × power) /
total reaction power
Different types of semipermeable membranes provide different
time and energy consumption multipliers for the reactions
And the provided fuel efficiency multiplier will multiply with the
converted heat value, affecting the total energy storage of the
reaction
Membrane durability consumed per total reaction: ceil(sqrt(total
reaction parallels)) with a basic hatch, or ceil((total reaction
parallels)^0.25) with an advanced hatch
This machine mode provides unlimited parallelism
Place a membrane permeable to the paired ions in a membrane
hatch at the top center; membranes are locked during reactions
Mode 2: Energy Release
Discharge requires a membrane in the membrane hatch; any
membrane allows the recipe to run
The maximum parallelism at this time is determined by the
discharge parallelism of the membrane
Membranes are locked during energy release: fixed durability
consumption equal to the recipe parallelism
Connect energy input hatches for storage and energy output
hatches for release; the top center accepts item/fluid outputs
and the membrane hatch
