About GTO
GregTech-Odyssey is a GregTech-centered, deeply performance-optimized GregTech modpack, with350+ multi-block structures, interesting mechanics, and function chambers that increase production scale, and integrates magic mods to enrich the overall gameplay experience. As the core mod, GTOCore not only deeply customizes the game progression, but also bringsmachine combination mode (implementing automatic switching of machine modes) and multi-threading optimization, and addsstructure module gameplay and enhancements to EMI and AE functionality. After deep modification, the modpack achievesfaster startup, significantly improved FPS,and maintains good smoothness and stability in later large-scale automation and multi-block structure scenarios.

Modpack file
In the project's Releases download page GregTech.Odyssey-[版本号].zip of the integration package file, and import it into Prism Launcher to create an instance. After import, set the instance's Java version to Java 25, and adjust the allocated memory appropriately according to device performance.
Adjust game difficulty
After successfully launching the game, you can adjust the game difficulty through the following paths:Main menu → MOD → Search GTOCore → Configuration → Gameplay → Game difficulty,or set it directly on the New World creation screen. After adjustments, be sure torestart the game. Please note,do not switch game difficulty during gameplay,otherwise the save file may become inaccessible. For differences in difficulty, refer to theDifficulty Features Guide.
Java settings
GTO currently supports Java 21, 25, and 26. We recommend you use Java25. We may change the compatible version of Java at any time.
Please use Java25 to enter the game, and check the box to skip Java compatibility check.
How to update the modpack
Visit Releases page, download the latest GregTech.Odyssey-[版本号].zip client pack. After successful installation, copy your old client'ssaves, gtceu, xaero, options, resourcepacks, shaderpacksCopy to the new client directory to complete the upgrade and retain data.
MOD related
Do not add I18N, it will overwrite the localization resources of the modpack, causing translation anomalies (Chinese players)
Do not add additional AE2 related addon mods, this modpack uses a self-forked and maintained version of AE2, which is likely incompatible with mainstream AE2 addon mods
