To ensure the best gaming experience, we strongly recommend using PrismLauncheras your preferred launcher. Using other launchers may lead to resource loading errors or loss of vanilla item modified recipes, etc., which will affect normal gameplay.

In the project's ReleasesPage DownloadGregTech.Odyssey-[version number].zipThe modpack file, and import it into Prism Launcher to create an instance. After completing the import, please take the instance'sJava version switched to Java 25and appropriately adjust the memory allocation based on device performance.

After successfully starting the game, you can adjust the game difficulty through the following path:Main interface → MOD → Search GTOCore → Configuration → Gameplay → Game difficultyor set it directly in the new world creation interface. After adjusting, please be sure toRestart gamePlease note,Do not change the game difficulty while playing.Otherwise, it may lead to the save file being inaccessible. GTO currently supports Java 21, 25, 26. We recommend you use Java 25. We may change the compatible Java versions at any time.

Please use Java25 to enter the game, and check the option to skip Java compatibility check

Visit Releases page, download the latest GregTech.Odyssey-[version number].zip client pack.

After installing the latest version of the integration package, copy the following folders or files from the old version to the new version as a whole:

1. local (local cache)

2. saves (save files)

3. gtceu (ore vein markers)

4. options.txt (game settings)

5. xaerosmap (map data)

6. resourcepacks (resource packs)

7. shaderpacks (shaders)

8. emi.json (EMI bookmarks)

• During the installation of the modpack, there will be some optional mods. You can go to Optional Mods Introduction · gtowiki to view the introduction

• The server installs all optional mods by default. Server owners should check the optional mod list themselves to add or remove mods.

• Do not add I18N, as it will overwrite the modpack's localization resources and cause translation errors (for Chinese players).

• Do not add additional AE2 addon mods. This modpack uses a self-forked and maintained version of AE2, which is likely incompatible with mainstream AE2 addon mods.
