Important Notes Before Reading

The following is a summary of core features, not a complete list. The game content will be continuously updated, and some settings may be adjusted accordingly. Please refer to the actual in-game version!

Easy Mode

  1. AE2 uses the original recipe (no modifications).
  2. ME Network Unlimited Channel
  3. Increased steam/power generation capacity, enhanced power-generation array unit capacity/turbine output
  4. Configurable upper and lower limits for maintenance bin elevation
  5. No ultra-clean room required.
  6. Increased/Streamlined Production of Certain Formulations
  7. (MV stage) ME Simple Template Assembly: a template assembly with 9 template slots
  8. The assembly line does not require ordered input.
  9. Bedrock vein / Bedrock fluid vein reserves are unlimited.
  10. Numerical enhancements such as Parallel Warehouse and Accelerated Warehouse
  11. Parallel Numerical Enhancement of Steam Power Machines
  12. Increased maximum extractable quantity for chained mining
  13. Mission brief: Massive supply replenishment
  14. You can enter the Ultra-Flat/Void Dimension at the LV stage.

Normal Mode

  1. AE2 fully modded (MV stage partially unlocked, HV stage enables automation)
  2. ME Network Unlimited Channel
  3. Monster Enhancement (Higher HP, Stronger Attack Power—Proceed with Caution)
  4. The assembly line requires a steady flow of items to operate.

Expert Mode

  1. More difficult AE2 modding (initially unlocked at the MV stage, automation unlocked at the EV stage)
  2. ME network channels are limited; please plan the base accordingly.
  3. Monster Enhancement (Higher HP, Stronger Attack Power—Proceed with Caution)
  4. Steam / Power Generation Capacity Reduction
  5. Machines will explode if exposed to rain.
  6. Reduced formula output / Increased complexity
  7. Lowering the warehouse upper and lower limits
  8. Higher radio loss
  9. Insufficient energy during machine operation will result in recipe failure and clearing of the input.
  10. The assembly line requires an orderly input of items and fluids to function.
  11. Numerical values for parallel warehouses and accelerated warehouses, etc., have decreased.
  12. When the output bin is full, the power-generation equipment will continue to generate electricity and dissipate the excess energy.
  13. The silencer chamber installed on the machine must be of the same voltage level or differ by only ±1 level; otherwise, it will not operate.

Select Image Quality

We’ll load images at the appropriate quality based on your network conditions. You can adjust this setting anytime later in Console > Profile.

Tip: High quality consumes more bandwidth and increases load times; we recommend using Low or Medium when on mobile networks.
