(0.5.4) Automatic Temperature Control Scheme for External Heat Source Boilers
Group Member Proposal (Group Members Are Going Wild)
Highly compressed, auto-temperature-controlled—absolutely insane—from group member “I’m Somewhat Like I Was Back Then.”
The comparator can be placed inside the structure to detect its state; the pistons (on both sides) can use standard pistons; redstone dust is placed on the external heat-source boiler, with the comparator mounted on the heater, and the redstone wiring on the pistons is for shutdown purposes.
P.S. The piston head can also block the heater—how mysterious!
Remember safe production (so long)
Before commencing formal production, be sure to claim the blast-proof zone, verify the status and connections of all boilers, and closely supervise the first trial run while running a backup in advance to prevent losses. If the furnace temperature exceeds 570 degrees, it indicates that the redstone control setup is incorrect; immediately dismantle or block the heater to avoid an explosion.
P.S. Uninstall and reset
The sticky piston mechanism may get stuck in the off, heated state when chunks are unloaded (entering or exiting a save), but can be reset with a short pulse.
