About GTODYSSEY
GregTech-Odyssey is a GregTech-based, heavily performance-optimized Greg integration pack featuring 350+ multi-block structures, engaging operational mechanics, and functional storage modules that scale production capacity, while also integrating magic mods to enrich the overall gameplay experience. As the core mod, GTOCore not only deeply customizes the game flow but also introduces a machine combination mode (enabling automatic switching between machine modes) and multithreading optimization, along with structural module gameplay and enhanced functionality for EMI and AE. Through extensive modding, the integration pack achieves faster startup and a significant FPS boost, while maintaining excellent smoothness and stability even in later-stage large-scale automation and multi-block structure scenarios.
Game Launcher
For the best gaming experience, we strongly recommend using Prism Launcher as your preferred launcher. Using other launchers may result in issues such as abnormal resource loading or loss of modded recipes for vanilla items, which can interfere with normal gameplay.
Integration package file
Download the GregTech.Odyssey-[version number].zip integration pack from the project's Releases page, and import it into Prism Launcher to create an instance. After the import is complete, please switch the Java version of the instance to Java 25, and adjust the allocated memory appropriately based on your device's performance.
Adjust Game Difficulty
After successfully launching the game, you can adjust the game difficulty via the following path: Main Menu → MOD → Search for GTOCore → Configuration → Gameplay → Game Difficulty, or set it directly on the New World creation screen.
After making adjustments, be sure to restart the game. Please note that do not change the game difficulty while playing, as this may prevent the save file from loading. For differences between difficulty levels, please refer to the Difficulty Characteristics Guide.
Java settings
Please use Java25 to enter the game and check the box to skip the Java compatibility check
How to update the mod pack
Visit the Releases page to download the latest GregTech.Odyssey-[version number].zip client integration pack. After successful installation, simply copy your old client’s saves, gtceu, xaerosmap, options, resourcepacks, shaderpacks into the new client directory to complete the upgrade while preserving your data
MOD-related
- Do not add I18N, as it will overwrite the modpack's Chinese localization resources, causing translation errors (for Chinese players)
- Do not add any AE2-related add-on mods; this modpack uses a forked and maintained version of AE2, which is highly likely to be incompatible with mainstream AE2 add-ons
