Expert mode (Expert)
Harder AE2 modification (initially unlocked at MV tier, automation enabled at EV tier)
ME network channels are limited, please plan your base accordingly; wireless network additionally provides 'source node' and 'sub-node' settings allowing players to aggregate and distribute channels
Enhanced monsters (higher health, stronger attacks, be cautious)
Steam / power generation output reduced
Machines exposed to rain will explode
Recipe outputs reduced / complicated
Maintenance hatch upper and lower limits reduced
Higher radio loss
Insufficient energy while machine is running will cause recipe failure and input to be cleared
Assembly line requires items and fluids to be input in order to function
Parallel control hatch / acceleration hatch values reduced
Power generation equipment will continue generating power when the output buffer is full and destroy excess energy
The muffler hatch installed on the machine must be of the same voltage tier or within ±1 tier, otherwise it will not operate
Turbines have an additional high-speed multiplier mode that allows higher operating speed at the cost of faster rotor wear
